As of today, there are over 315,000 deaths caused by Covid-19, over 4.7 million infections in the World.  I do understand that a country cannot stay shut for an indefinite amount of time, as it would cause as much harm as the virus itself, due to depression, medical issues, suicides, obesity, etc.

However, governments apply their rules and laws upon the population; they make us pay taxes, they make us put children in school, otherwise, they find the parents, they make us drive on the assigned side of the street, they make us pay a yearly TV & Radio tax (at least here in Switzerland), they make you apply for a drivers license before you can drive your car, they make you buy a specific, taxable garbage bag, they issue fines for speeding,  they fine us for jaywalking, etc. etc, the list goes on with all kinds of laws and regulations.

But, with over 315,000 deaths within a short period of time, 3 1/2 months, governments can not, or will not bring themselves to implement a mandatory rule that every citizen wears a mask as soon as they leave their home! The United States with a population of approx. 331,002,651 people had sofar close to 90,000 deaths, which is about 3.6 % of the population, in Switzerland with a population of approx. 8,654,622 there are 1879 deaths so far, that is 4.6% of the population, therefore a bigger impact than in the USA! Now that life goes on as usual here in Switzerland, undoubtedly there will be more infections because that virus is still with us.

As I understand, this virus is contagious and transmittable by mouth, nose, and eyes, it is considered an Acute Respiratory Syndrome disease?! Now, I may not be the brightest star in the sky, but wouldn’t it make complete sense to wear a mask in order to prevent the spread of this disease whether you are symptomatic or not and since anyone could be a carrier.

I would not trust a stranger on the bus or on a train with my life, because that person refuses to wear a mask. 

To avoid and overcome that fear of trust and to eradicate the virus, in my opinion, everyone should be wearing a mandatory mask until a vaccine is available. Sure, there are some folks that will rebel against such a rule, but they will overcome and deal with it just as they deal and accept all the other rules and regulations put upon us!

One has to wonder whether or not this is about population control? By not implementing a mask law, it’s like saying, “deal with this virus on your own terms, if you wear a mask your continued survival depends on it, if you are not wearing it you may die! “ 

It really is a no brainer to me! My opinion is just what it is, my opinion, and common sense!

There are over 220 blogs on my website at this time, my platform was intended to provide interesting, informational blogs about food, beverages, and travel. 

There is really nothing for sale on my site with the exception of my wife’s amazing wall art and my life-story ebook which was dedicated to all new upcoming, aspiring young chef apprentices, to tell them what it would mean to be a chef and maybe help them to choose the right path.

Over the last few months

I noticed that more and more people are subscribing to my blog website, “UlrichkK’s Food and Travel Blogs”, last I checked it was 1100 people! for a website that doesn’t promote any kind of products, such as Shopify, Wish, or Amazon, I was surprised, and happy at the same time, because it’s very time-consuming to research and write blogs while at the same maintaining an efficient website.

I had absolutely no idea about making, supporting a website, but these days one can learn anything with the help of YouTube, and the website platform provided by WordPress.org was a big help and easy to start with.

After receiving thumbs up by my hosting company Hostgator.com, internal analytic programs, and Google for reaching many new subscribers within a single month, they suggested that I should implement Google Adsense.

I am still tweaking and adjusting things on my site almost on a daily basis, in order to make it more efficient, faster, and  interesting for my subscribers. Since my retirement 2 years ago it provides me the time to dedicate myself to master the internet world, and I love it, my wife is complaining that I spend to much time on the PC instead of with her!

After running a statistic report to see who is subscribing, (by the way…I still don’t know where they all subscribe, I would like to send a “Thank you” note to every new subscriber for registering, but I don’t know where to look!) turns out my subscribers are from all over the world, predominantly the USA, Europe and a smaller percentage from a variety of countries.

The most frequently read blog is about 5 G and Tinnitus,

I have had that ringing in the ears for a year now, and it bothers the hell out me! As I sit here writing this, the inside of my ears is buzzing like crazy! have had that ringing in the ears for a year now, and it 

I live in a house that was built in the 14th century with thick brick walls, the way they use to build them those days, when we moved into the house we had to get internet and Wifi connections installed, I believe that my Tinnitus is caused through the 4 G waves scrambling within these thick walls, bouncing back and forth!

And now, they are thinking of installing a 5G Tower somewhere in this small town! making my ear buzz even more unbearable!

According to the world medical societies, there is no proven cure against Tinnitus, which is somewhat amazing to me with the advanced technologies available in this 21st century’s medical fields.

What is the solution? If my ear buzzing gets any worth by the time 5G is installed, we will have to either get rid of the internet in this house or move to another location, a house with thinner walls maybe!!

Well, if you don’t see any more blogs from me over the next few months, that is probably because my head exploded, compliments of 5G!!
